[ After everyone has gone to sleep in the soft room, Zhongli carefully disentangles himself from the sleepover, picks up the small fox still curled up away from everyone, and heads toward his room. ]

[ yawns, nestling in real close to zhongli. he can tell it’s him for a multitude of reasons, so he doesn’t bother opening his eyes. ] …you all healed up, Xiansheng, and feeling better?

Yes, the burns are healed though they left some scarring. And even if it does not help, I am relieved that everyone is at least not spending this evening alone with their thoughts.

[ angy fox is angy. ] I’m buying those off for you. [ … ] I told you I’m fine. Nothing happened to me.

[ An attempt is made to soothingly stroke his fur. ]

Then I still wish for you to be in good company even when nothing bad has happened to you.

[ starts pawing at zhongli in an attempt to search for his phone. ] I have you here, Xiansheng. I’m in great company.

[ It is in his coat pocket, and probably by now has a million charms attached to it at this point so it jingles.

Also a picture from their ghost house trip is now the lock screen.

He laughs ]

What are you up to now?

[childeishly]

[ makes a face at the ghost picture as soon as he gets his paws on the phone. baps at the screen until he gets to the shop. ] I’m buying off your scars. I’ll send you the points as soon as I change back. I don’t like knowing they marked you… [ pouts at the phone. ]

[ Scritches behind his ears. ]

Thank you for taking such good care of me. My days here are eased because of your presence.

[childeishly]

[ bap bap bap - on the phone. ] As are mine, Xiansheng. I'm very lucky.

[ He does pull back his sleeve when Childe makes the purchase, carefully running two fingers along the now smooth obsidian skin while being careful not to jostle the fox in his arms too much. ]

It seems to have worked.

Now, may I monopolize your time for the rest of the night?

[ childe turns back after zhongli's checked his scars for himself. he reaches for his arm and takes it in hand, bringing it to his lips. he drops a few kisses along his arm, eyes closing as he hums. ] Of course, Xiansheng. Would you like me to draw you a bath?

[ If the golden sigils along his arm glow just slightly at the touch as almost if Zhongli were blushing - well. That must be a trick of the light. Obviously. ]

Ah yes. With the lavender oils - it's good for releasing tension and promoting a good night's sleep.

[childeishly]

[ OBVIOUSLY. childe might have stopped kissing zhongli's arm, but he's still got a firm hold on it; lips occasionally brushing the sleek obsidian skin. ] And I can give you a massage. [ leans up to kiss the corner of his lips. ] Light some nice smelling candles too.

[ Okay but the blush on his cheeks is very real and not so easy to explain away as a trick of the light.

His arm twitches in Childe's grip. ]

I would like that...

Let’s go then. Let’s spoil each other. [ tugs on his arm and moves out of the bed, heading toward the bathroom. ] Do you want to start the bath and I’ll take care of the ambiance~

Yes. I can start the bath.

[ Combining how expansive and luxurious the bath is alongside how particular fussy and particular Zhongli himself is, don't mind him as he seems to be adding an array of salts and oils and checking the temperature multiple time until it is perfection.

As he's laying out various bottles and soaps to use, he glances over to take a peek at what Childe is doing. ]

[childeishly]

[ he’s looking through an assortment of candles and picking out the scents that go together nicely. once’s he’s finished that he’s setting them around the bathroom to ensure the entire room will smell heavenly. he catches zhongli looking in his direction and so he smiles, ] I hope you enjoy the scents I’ve chosen, Xiansheng. [ all relaxing scents like lavender and camomile. perhaps a pop of freshness with something earthy/woody. ]

[ Zhongli presses a kiss to Childe's hair, nosing at it slightly as he reaches around from behind to start undoing whatever unnecessary belts, buckles and accessories that he is wearing today.

Beautiful to look at but always getting in the way.

(As if he was one to talk). ]

Mmmm, I do.

But this is the one I enjoy the most.

[ aaaand #dead. he flushes, and thankfully it might be a *bit* hard for zhongli to see that at the moment, but childe swiftly turns to cup his cheek and kiss him deeply. ] Such a smooth talker, Xiansheng. [ he'll help him shed all of the unnecessary clothing, because there's a lot of it. ]

And you seem to be weak to your own brand of flirting.

[ The clothes (Zhongli's included) are neatly folded and left on the counter before Zhongli reaches for an elaborate hairpin (probably also purchased by Childe) to put up his hair. ]

I am not! [ he so is. ]

[ as soon as zhongli puts in the hairpin childe smiles, reaching for his arm and tugging him flush against him. ] Mm. But first... [ a couple more kisses because he can't help himself. he finds it a bit hard to completely pull away... so he doesn't-! instead leading zhongli to the bath so they can climb in together. ]

Do you want to sit opposite each other or would you like to sit up against me, Xiansheng?

I want to be closer to you. If you will indulge me.

[ It seems Zhongli also has no interest in being separated from Childe at the moment. He climbs into the tub once Childe has settled himself in the tub and presses as close as he can to him ]

[childeishly]

… [ that sobers him a little, so as soon as he’s settled into the tub he moves his arms around zhongli and holds him as close as space allows. tangles their legs together and dots a couple of kisses along his shoulder. ] How could I deny you, Xiansheng. Shut your eyes and try to relax. I’m not going anywhere.

[ He relaxes back against Childe with a content sigh, fingers running over the now scar-less obsidian like skin of his arm. ]

You really are too good to me.

[ And he tilts his head to press a kiss against Childe's cheek before doing as asked and closing his eyes. ]
