[ He stands outside of Childe's door irritably grumbling to himself for several minutes, working up the willpower to actually knock.

He does eventually knock, though it might not be loud enough to wake him up if Childe is deeply asleep. Or not even in there at all. ]

[ his ears perk up, but he doesn’t immediately go for the door. instead, he lingers in his nest staring at it. really, it can only be a small handful of people and he’s not interested in seeing any of them right now. ]

[ but he doubts he can pretend to be asleep forever, and he’ll have to leave his room eventually. ]

[ he answers, having to resist immediately saying ‘oh, it’s you’. ] Kazuki, was it… [ he didn’t even know he’d changed his name. ] What is it?

[ so childe lost a fight ( and a bet ) to wanderer, so for the rest of the day he has to shut up. because wanderer doesn't think he's capable ( or perhaps because he doesn't trust him ) he's also got to wear a gag. that's the reason they're in food land. looking for a muzzle or something. childe doesn't expect to run into yuuri, so now he's doubly embarrassed. ]

He's going to stand to the side for a little to see what they're doing. He can tell Childe spotted him but Wanderer didn't, so he's just smiling and standing aside while SPYING THEM - not quite hiding but not interrupting either

Tartaglia; I’m a fox spirit, yes, a kitsune as it’s referred to in Inazuma.
And, yes, I was one before those drinks appeared and changed everybody.
Why, did something else happen with them?

It's a little more daunting now that he's actually up there and lacking any of his abilities. ]
