I would hope so. I have high hopes, but I have been disappointed before.

The caterpillar thingie slides back a few feet at being hit buy a wave. It doesn't roar as much as shriek though not loudly. Not loudly at all for something of its size.
At the water burst it seems to become a little distraught, flailing about and looking around for ... something. Part of its tactics is to drop crumbling walls on its opponents but its seems as if this flat surface has no such buildings. For shame!
So it summons meteors from the heavens upon him instead as it rushes forward full of teeth to bite.
Emet is absolutely not helping. Actually he simply tsks at the monster when it seems confused at the lack of building fodder.]

[The interior of the monster is quite squishy as one would expect, warm, after getting through the leathery hide. But it has something else, something, cold. Not physically, of course. But that chill, that dread, what is it again...

[ this is not what he'd been expecting and he's half tempted to abandon fighting the monster to strike at emet again for pitting him against a monster made entirely of fear, ESPECIALLY coming off dying and assorted *other* things. he hisses, ripping his hand out and causing an immediate burst of electro energy to ( hopefully ) stun the creature so he can temporarily retreat. it did manage to sink it's teeth into him before he could get off his electrical explosion, so he doesn't escape as cleanly as he would have liked, but at least he's not missing a chunk of himself. ]
[ childe darts backward, his hydro weaponry changing into a bow, as he quickly fires several arced shots to rain down relentlessly on the monster. once it's suitably soaked he spins the bow, turning it from hydro to electro and drawing back a charged shot. ] Take a bite out of me, will ya', ...
